It is a direct and instinctive link that connects Nell to his art. No intermediate or premeditation. No academic training, feeling. A call that comes from within, facing the intensity of an emotion. As a magnet, Nell then seized pigments and brushes, and even funny objects to express this unique vibration on the live.
Acrylics, inks or collages, the material comes to it intuitively. Guided by the authenticity of the moment, the artist amuses himself with the processes to get ever closer to his artist identity. Living. Each of his works participates in this inner research.

Self-taught, Nell has always had an intimate connection to art. Little girl, she pencils on her school notebooks. Suddenly, she takes part in drawing competitions... It is in her, this call to the sensory world of plastic arts, music, sport. When Nell's cousin turns to fine arts, she dreams, but takes another path, reluctantly. « It's not a trade. », she hears. However, she never stopped painting, on the walls of her children's room, for her friends, her family. Nell makes the colors dance. Clin d'oeil to his achromatic daughter who does not perceive them. His personal and professional life takes a few detours, on the paths of tourism.
In 2006, Nell revived her creativity, which would never leave her. She met a pastelist artist who helped prepare her entry to the School of Interior Architecture in 2010. Some projects emerge, then in 2015, it is the big flight: Nell leaves tourism.
Officially certified art therapist, the artist engages in artistic and sensual mediation. It's time to take his paintings out in the light: a first exhibition in 2017, at Les 7 Îles bar in Baden. There, a German designer buys him his first painting. In 2018, the Minahouët returns to the sources and exhibits in Locmiquelic, during the course of the Rads Art. That same year, she offered her collages at the watercolor salon in Riantec. In 2019 and 2020, it is at La Boxe à Aide de Larmor-Plage that she exposes and exercises as an art therapist. A small piece of humanity in which Nell finds himself fully.
The artist is also asked for illustrations. The art is an impulse to the other, for Nell, convinced that he can help people in their difference, and reconnect us to our strongest emotions. Gather us together in the present moment, because we are like each other inwardly.
