Abstract Art

red net

Labstract art is an artistic movement that developed in the early 20th century, detaching traditional figurative representations to explore shapes, colours and textures independently. Unlike figurative art, which seeks to represent the world as it is, abstract art invites the viewer to feel and interpret the work according to his own emotions and perceptions.

Symbolic artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian and Jackson Pollock played a crucial role in the evolution of this movement. Kandinsky, for example, believed that colour and shape could evoke deep emotions, while Mondrian sought to reduce reality to its most fundamental elements through pure lines and colours.

Abstract art has also paved the way for many other forms of artistic expression, influencing movements such as the Surrealism and contemporary art. Today, he continues to inspire and provoke reflections on the nature of art and how we perceive the world around us. In short, abstract art is a celebration of the human creativity, offering a multitude of interpretations and visual experiences.
